What we do
A casual dining restaurant located in historic downtown Carthage, Tennessee, providing good food in a comfortable atmosphere. Carthage, Tennessee is a town of 2,000 people located in Smith County Tennessee, which has a population of 20,000, and is an hour east of Nashville. Our town was called home by two Nobel Peace Prize winners, Cordell Hull and Al Gore Jr. Cordell Hull was known as the Father of the United Nations and was the longest serving Secretary of State in U. S. history. Al Gore, Jr. was U.S. Vice President and is recognized for raising awareness about climate change.

Our restaurant is a reflection of the history of our town and recognition of the significant global contribution of these two local citizens. Our restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The atmosphere is casual, but nice enough for a business meeting, family get together, or quiet date. Our target market includes both tourists and local residents. We will serve Italian food (pasta and pizza) and American cuisine (burgers and steak). We will have a small bar area and a small stage for periodic entertainment.

Our focus is on history and education, not on politics. We do not want to stress any political belief or faction.

3. Good food, friendly atmosphere, great service

The target audience
Our target market includes both tourists and local residents. We will serve Italian food (pasta and pizza) and American cuisine (burgers and steak). We will have a small bar area and a small stage for periodic entertainment.

Families with children, business people, tourists, local residents. A bit more upscale than other local restaurants. People should feel comfortable wearing jeans, but maybe not come in straight from a construction work site.

A place to dine when tired of fast food, but with a varied menu that you won't get tired of coming here to eat the same old thing.

We like these fonts, colors and style
The restaurant appearance resembles an Irish pub (see attached image for an example of the look we are going for). Our colors are black and antique gold. We will have a small outdoor patio by the front door. Internal décor will be old red brick and wood.
