My business is a patent law office (or patent law firm) and smartphone(iphone, android) application for a patent related service(includes patent, trademark, design patent, etc.). The designed logo will be used in my application icon(short cuts).
The title 'pat earn' means 'earn the patent' and it pronounce like 'pattern'. So, the two part of my title may distinguish from each other by applying different text font style(bold, italic, underline or color) or by taking a space between two letters.
In short, I'm a patent attorney in korea and want to use my logo in korea and also other countries like U.S, japan, china.
My smartphone application is for managing patent procedure and also includes matching between a client and a patent attorney.
I want you to create my logo which is sute for legal service. I think that legal service may have an image of trust, confidence and reliable. So, to much fancy color may not suit for my logo.
So, can you suggest and design my logo with my above condition?

The target audience
Target audiences are who want to get their patent related service. In U.S. patent related service may services against the U.S.P.T.O.
And also the target audiences are application users, who want to manage the whole procedure of patent related service.
Therefore, I think that professionalism is most important thing for designing the logo and too much fancy color may not suit for that.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I don't have any idea about the color. So, can you suggest me about it?
The logo will be displayed in front door and sign of my office, my website and application.
As I said above, I think too much fancy colors are not suit for my concept.

I brought a reference logo which can represent my instant idea.
It might be good if my logo seems like 'ALL PPT' below.

If you look at the 'ALL PPT' logo, the PPT is filled with some random color. I think 'PAT' part would go same concept but in little bit different way. It would be good if 'PAT' is filled with some pattern. That pattern could be the pattern I mentioned before(http://i.imgur.com/sv47Pi1.jpg) or any other kind of pattern you can suggest.
and the 'earn' part comprise just simple thin line like the 'ALL' part of above 'ALL PPT' logo.
