I do landscaping and lawn care. We approach our clients as if they own a golf course we are maintaining. We specialize in all residential aspects of landscaping including lawn mowing, mulching, fertilization, custom landscape installations and paver patios.

1. that my company name is "Double D", not "DD"
2. upscale look, a country club type logo, because that's how we act
3. that we do outdoor services, something with a nature aspect
The target audience
residential customers who do not have the time to do their own lawn maintenance, and want a very high quality service, not just a neighborhood kid. Also people looking to upgrade their landscape, or add a patio. I advertise on golf course scorecards, with truck decals, facebook, and on shirts. I currently get most of my new clients from living near existing clients.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I really like the idea of a crest type logo like country clubs have or the National Park Service type badge communicating what I do first and foremost. My favorite color schemes have always involved Blues but I am open. I'd like it to be modern, with a traditional feel, suggesting an established, reputable company.
