Game Schooled Logo Design Contest
Name On Logo: Game Schooled
Our Slogan
Keeping Education Fun
What we do
My current focus is on selling tabletop games to schools. My ultimate goals would be to have a monthly order form like Scholastics, but instead of books, I would be selling tabletop games.

In addition to selling via order form/flyer, I'd like to sell games that are tied to the curriculum (k-6), sell recess/lunch packages, and/or help the schools start up game groups to promote socialization through organized play.
Industry: Education

Things to communicate through the design
1. Professionalism
2. Educational
3. Fun

The target audience
Parents of school-aged children.
Teachers, Principals.
Students at all levels (grades 1-3 games tied to the curriculum, grades 4-8 game groups and recess kits, grades 9+ through university organized play).
Anyone interested in gaming without a screen.

We like these fonts, colors and style
I'm not sure I know enough about designs to articulate what exactly I am looking for, but I know that I like simple designs that carry a simple message. For example, what was once known as Brewer's Retail in ON, is now called simply,

The Beer Store, with the "B", looking like a beer. I find that logo simple and effective in how it conveys to me what the store is all about. That is why I went with the name Game Schooled; because it marries up two concepts I am trying to bring together. In that line, Game Schooled's logo could be as simple as a die with a square academic cap...in fact, could someone do that? Scholastics has a virtual monopoly on the demographics I'm trying to reach.

I'm not thrilled with their design, but something like that may subconsciously resonate with my target audience.
