NLT is searching for a logo to effectively communicate its expertise in the industry, professionalism and personal service. NLT offers over 20 years of experience in the commercial telecommunications industry, pairing the same expertise of a major corporation with the personal and quality service of a family owned company.

Logo Symbols:...
It is very important to us that the logo include a cross element to subtly represent our Christian values. However, we do not want to be mistaken for a church especially since there is a New Life Church in the area. In our drafts we have played with making the “t” in telecom a subtle cross but this is not a requirement. We have also liked a vine idea merging the cross and new life concepts, but struggled with making it all tie in to a telecom company logo. It is very important that when a customer sees our logo, their first assumption is that we are a telecom company. We have also tried using a leaf with the same issues, which is precisely why we’ve started this contest! As long as you have some sort of subtle cross element, feel free to start from scratch and show us what you can come up with!..........
Another consideration for the logo is that it should include a symbol or highly “brandable” look that we can embroider a version of onto a polo shirt..........

This is a professional, well-established telecom company. Please have a high-tech, 2010 company look...........
Color Scheme:...
While we don’t have a color scheme established yet, we would like our logo to look great on a beige or light tan shirt. Logo may use greens to play up the “New Life” in our name, or blues which tend to represent technology companies. We are open to other colors if they effectively represent the company. The logo should have a white or transparent background.

We really like the green and black combo for the colors so let’s go with that color scheme. Also, we really like it when the word “Telecom” is emphasized so that it’s the first thing you notice when you see the logo. Lastly, we decided we like the classic cross in the logo.
