Cypress Settlements provides claims processing for class action law suits related to the securities industry. Its clients are pension funds, hedge funds, mutual funds, basically anyone that holds a large portfolio of stocks. The logo should be strong, detailed and make people feel that the company is solid and well grounded. The logo is inspired by the lone Cypress Tree on “17-Mile Drive at Pebble, Beach, California. 17 Mile Drive is comprised of approx. 20 landmarks. The Lone Cypress Tree you'll see along the drive is around 250 years old and represents the Pebble Beach Company, owner of Pebble Beach golf courses and many properties in this wealthy region of the Monterey Bay. The Lone Cypress - You probably have seen this tree before. It is the trademark for the resort and actually exists, perched on a rock with a supporting cable to keep it from falling.” Picture here:

[Login to view URL] Those two images are not exactly what I want the logo to look like but let this be inspiration as to the feeling it should evoke… What I am thinking for the actual Logo is a windswept cypress tree with the words Cypress Settlements under the windswept branches, or under the entire tree… Think Bonsai style tree that’s been shaped by the wind over the years.

Regarding Logos I really like the style of this one (http://tiny.cc/kk44h another version of it here

I basically want the tree to look very similar in shape to that one but to be longer on the right side than on the left side. This one (http://tiny.cc/b7uif) is more what I am thinking in terms of the actual layout, still not my favorite looking tree but this style layout could work and is what I had originally envisioned. Another one (http://tiny.cc/jtsgl) just to give you feel, I want much more detail in the tree than this has and want it to be longer vertically.
As far as colors I am thinking a bright almost florescent green and navy blue. I would also be ok with the color scheme used here (http://tiny.cc/kk44h) and would like to see both options. From a printing standpoint, if we can use 2-3 colors that would be best, we can also use screens of the same color to make a lighter color. I don’t want any background, needs to be on a white background.
