3. Service and Customer-oriented
The target audience
The target audience is the 20-60 adventure seekers & travel fanatics. They are typically well educated, upper-middle class, and informed on global events and travel destinations. They come from all sectors, but wish they could leave all that behind to trek the globe for months on end. (Me too!) They read magazines such as Outdoor, National Geographic, Men/Women's Fitness, Climbing Magazine etc. They fantasize and actually go to places about which most people only dream about anywhere in the world. They are usually animal and eco-lovers. There is a secondary group which is much broader, and not as focused - these are the commercial and private consumers of portraits, etc.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I leave this up to the designer. It will need to be used in all mediums, and should also work if need be in black and white, such as on a watermark. Keep in mind that photography is about the control of light and shadows, so if you can incorporate this effect, that would help convey the business of photography. Think creative 2D representation of 3D subjects.
I offer the below only as suggestions; however, do not feel bound by this - Use bold, clear type, nothing too fancy or script. Feel free to manipulate the letters to create the feeling of adventure or being in far-flung places, or to manipulate them with aspects of photography-except for putting camera shutters inside a letter - that's way overdone. If you can incorporate a natural landmark (in this regard, think The North Face's logo), that might work and help convey the global sense of the business. Only as a suggestion, working in a globe, compass rose or other global symbols might also help with that. All of the above said, it should not be busy and hard on the eyes.
It should not be cartoony, it should not use pastels, avoid harsh contrast should you decide to play some with light and shadows, make the transitions smooth and natural

The two-word phrase we are trying to convey in this logo is "Capturing Passions"....people are passionate about what they do and what they love, and what we do is capture that in unique ways.
