Bar and Grill. Cold drinks, quality pub food, personal and friendly service. Named after our Jack Russell Terrier named Dori.
Industry: Restaurant

Things to communicate through the design
1. Fun, inviting, friendly
2. locally owned & operated
3. strength, industrial, reclaimed materials used

The target audience
Local residents that are bar regulars, many customers will be travelling to this area because there's a lake nearby so summer is very busy and many stop by for lunch/dinner/pizza on the weekends during the summer.

Casual atmosphere (shorts, t-shirts, hats, flip flops), music, TVs with Sports and game area.

We like these fonts, colors and style
Maybe a script font for the word 'Dori' as if it's a signature
Would like to be able to incorporate some type of our dog's feature, perhaps a silhouette or abstract so it is subtle.

Interior may be remodeled to be more industrial with exposed beams, stone or wood accent walls. May use reclaimed materials such as galvanized steel, light fixtures with old glass alcohol decanters, etc. interior not complete, so subject to change, but this is the goal.

Our design will be used on
(Web)  (Print Media)  (Billboards & Signs)  (Mugs & Tshirts)

Additional Info Added Jun 10, 2016
Like the Late 1800's Vintage look as well, which may work well with a loft/industrial interior. adding images.

Concerned the name looks too much like 'Doris' if the apostrophe isn't prominent enough. Or perhaps need to offset, tilt, etc. the 's'.

We like # 10 and #11 since it had multiple images in one logo. We also like the layout of #9, but perhaps with the more 'regal' looking Dori in #13.
Any ideas for a vintage look, or perhaps more industrial, such as a logo stamped in iron/metal plating? What about a more wine barrel/ home brew feel, possibly with the logo embossed or wood burning/branding iron on wood crate/barrel/ etc.?
