Additional Info Added May 23, 2016
I'd like to have something in the design that is commonly used in eye surgery such as an intraocular implant (see more details below) incoorporated into the design, or some kind of feline eye the design, or both.

The Intraocular Lens Implant, which if you look in my avatar, you will see it has the form of an "S". May be in addition to an eyeball somewhere, the "S" in SURGERY, could have the shape or form of that implant. Veterinary ophthalmologists would recognize it right away.
For more information on the design and shape of this implant, simply google "intraocular lens implant" and you will see!

Cats have a slit pupil, and that differentiates a design for a human ophthalmologist for example, as people have round pupil.

Let's not use the VOSM acronym because it's not a pretty one, it is not catchy. So I prefer to have the full words spelled out.

The pupil/color of a siamese cat (blue one) could be a good start, it seems to be that blue is a good color in these designs. But Im open to others as well, or going with a black/white design too
