What we do
We are a software company in the Workforce Management industry that focuses on the Public Sector (government) and we recently added Performance Management as a new suite of products. Think "how fast does the City take care of your problem?" Performance.
The logo will actually be used on a web site, trade show booth and a brochure. Our corporate logo is not changing

Things to communicate through the design
1. Workforce Management (we are a serious firm in an established industry)
2. Performance (run government like a business)
3. Public Sector (government only)
The target audience
Government finance and IT managers. State and Local (City, County) elected officials.
We like these fonts, colors and style

One idea is "Workforce Software" large and clear with spray painted graffiti saying "Public Sector" before it and a ^ with the word "Performance" inserted between workforce and management. Government deals with graffiti so I think that would be whimsical like someone defaced our logo.
Another idea is to use street signs as a model. Very government. But please be creative.
We would also like a serious version. If we use two designs, we would pay the full price for each separately.
