What we do
We are a local government organisation (The Hills Shire Council). We hold an annual community festival each year which is a collection of events run by the community - for the community. Our role is to bring the events together underneath the one umbrella where we provide event support and we market & promote the festival to the local area.
This year we have re-named our festival to HillsFest as the previous name was very dated and didnt reflect our modern, stylish & sofisticated community.

Family is the prime target - but our events are for all ages & demographics thus: Children, Youth, Seniors, Mums, Men, Disabled
We like these fonts, colors and style
The logo should be very clean.

IMPORTANT: This logo should be: MODERN, STYLISH & CORPORATE. NOT HAVE THE LOOK OF A "CARNIVAL/FAIR" as that is not the image we are trying to display.
Our area is called The Hills Shire - and when people hear/read this they think more "county" - where in-fact we are a very modern, affluent & cosmopolitan area in Sydney. We are a high income area - luxury homes and vehicles - a sought after location to live,work and play.
The Festival brings in large amounts of sponsorship - so it needs to have a corporate feel whilst being stylish and fun.
