What we do
We are buying a sailboat and we are going to have an online presence so that friends and family can follow us. This will included Facebook, YouTube, and our website which will have lots of blogs/location/bookings on it. The logo needs to be easy to read from a distance and can be put on the side of the boat (pictures of the boat attached). The Facebook page is:

The target audience
Friends, family, and folks who are interested in sailing. Part of our goal is to have the Facebook and YouTube channels generate visits to our website to produce revenue. We will also use the website to let family and friends book stays on the boat as we explore the world!
We like these fonts, colors and style
We were playing with logos on a note pad by hand and came up with a sample of something that we liked (the y would have been the silhouette of the front of the boat, but you don't need to use that as a guide...your imagination is the limit! It needs to be modern looking, can have the boat in it or something else, but it does need to have 'SV Lil' Swanky' on it and clearly legible. Keep in mind that this will go on the side of the boat and we need people to be able to read it from afar. Think contemporary, modern, clean lines, etc, just like our boat! Clean typeface like Apple's San Francisco is always good. Color is optional. And if you want to create a character for it, that's fine too!
