The target audience
travelers looking to tour Haleakala National Park from a nature conservancy standpoint. Birding will be the primary focus but education around flora and fauna, natural history and conservation issues will be predominant as well
We like these fonts, colors and style
A lot of the "cool" birds here are red so that would be a great color choice. The island is lush with green but I don't want it to look like Christmas. I would LOVE if the M in Maui could be a bird of some sort. We don't have gulls here, so that shape is out. I'd love the ocean to be involved...blue/green tropical looking and enticing

Because Haleakala is a giant dormant volcano, I'd LOVE to have that incorporated as well. Any bird worth seeing is in Haleakaka park so I want to convey that. I'm picturing the M in Maui an actual bird with its wings each "side" of the letter M, but that's just a thought, not a necessity
