The Collaborative Design Center of Hamilton Building Supply
What we do
HBS Home is the collaborative design center of its parent company, Hamilton Building Supply. Hamilton Building Supply (aka HBS) is a premier residential and commercial building material supply company, that offers products and services of the best quality and value. Hamilton Building Supply’s client base is approximately 90% professional contractor and 10% homeowner. A primary goal of HBS Home is to create an inviting environment for homeowners to wander and make product selections that will best suit their own home’s design
Industry: Home & Garden
Things to communicate through the design
1. Expert guidance throughout the specificity of your project
2. Attention to every detail
3. Inviting atmosphere for idea collaboration
The target audience
HBS Home will be a creative environment for Architects to send their homeowner clients to, with or without their general contractor. HBS Home will cater to clients who are in the process of specifying all of the building materials and architectural elements that will be intended for use on their project. HBS Home is not interested in appealing to and bringing in the masses, instead HBS Home will offer individual, detail oriented attention to it’s clients that are working on multiple phases of a home construction or renovation project.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We want a logo that speaks to our primary professional trade clients (Architects and Builders), but mainly captures the homeowner / project owner audience and draws them in. Hamilton Building Supply is the parent company of HBS Home and has an existing logo that we want to draw inspiration from for HBS Home, but ultimately allows HBS Home to have some of its own unique qualities and gentler touches.
Our design will be used on
(Web) (Print Media) (Billboards & Signs) (Television) (Mugs & Tshirts)

We sell a lot of custom millwork at HBS, particularly wood doors. Please try and incorporate a tasteful door, arched preferably, into the logo theme. We want our logo to be tasteful, simple, speak to the higher end clients but be well accepted by others
