Federal Electric (1976) Ltd. is an electrical contracting company specializing in the Industrial, Commercial & Institutional (ICI) sector. We also do smaller service calls. Our commitment to client satisfaction, attention to detail and reputation for timely delivery sets us apart from other contractors in our trade.

The target audience
Our target audience is people in the ICI sector (Industrial, Commercial & Institutional). Most people in the industry are men. Geared towards engineers and consultants. We work with General Contractors on most of our projects. Typical ages range from 20-70.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Our company likes the idea of having an angular or cube style design for our logo. Our colours are red and black, blue and red, or a combination of the three. The "(1976) Ltd." part of our name does not need to be included however the company name should either have the F and E capitalized or the entire name capitalized.
We are not opposed to having electrical references in the design (i.e.: electrical tools or material). It should be sleek and not too busy.
We don't currently have any particular font but sans serif might be better (but we're not designers, so please feel free to explore different concepts!)
We like the idea of a bold logo.
The colours could be crimson/fire engine for red and cobalt for blue but again, we are open to different interpretations!

Please note that we are a Canadian company, not American, so flags and stars do not appeal to us.
Further, even though our name says Federal, we are not affiliated with the government.
We love all the designs coming in so far! If anyone feels like they have a better idea for colours or colour combinations, please feel free to submit something and we'll let you know if we like it or not by rankings and/or comments!
