What we do
Waveguyd is a drone (UAV) products company. We have developed a couple of landing pads for drone racing and drone deliveries. The delivery pad has guidance technologies (such as bluetooth, etc) to guide the drone down to the ground accurately and safely. The racing pad has similar technologies (ie: bluetooth, wireless connections to a cloud) Initial design is octagon shape, but may change.

The target audience
Basically there are two audiences (Drone Racing & Drone Deliveries), but meshing the two could work.
Drone enthusiasts, techies, standard home consumers, anyone who orders products online (I know that's broad). A home user wants the feel that the device is simple to use, not too complex. The drone enthusiasts want an eye grabbing cool look.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Blue, black, gray (shocking right?, lol). We are not opposed to small uses of other colors (orange, silver, white). After looking at many drone company logos, it almost seems cliche to add a drone to the logo. However, we do like the idea of an abstract drawing of a drone. Subtle drawing of a drone, maybe the propellers. We would like it (but are open to other ideas) if the word "WaveGuyd" could be dropped from the logo and a consumer would still know who the company is by the stand alone image (i realize that has a lot to do with time and mass appeal). The images that I'm uploading are by NO means our final ideas. We are really open to just about anything. After searching logos for hours, there are so many logos that are cool. Feel free to submit your own personal twist/idea on what the logo could look like.

WaveGuyd is a bad version of multiple ideas we were originally playing with...which is why we are launching this contest! That is not the font we are looking for.
