I MISS MY COLLEGE is a mom & pop online t shirt shop.

The watering holes, the eateries, the tailgate parties, the parks, and streets, the shopping, and the coffee shops where we stole free internet. Where we fell in love with our college sweetheart, where the guys met up every Friday night for happy hour. Our shirts invoke everything alumni loved about college besides the actual football/basketball game...everything they did outside the classroom... all the places off campus teach of us hold dear to our hearts.

Our tees puts that smirky reminiscent smile back on the faces of thousands of college kids who grew up to be responsible mothers & fathers, staunchy suits & ties, and devoted living room recliner sports enthusiasts. Our customers are college grads, spirited alumni who want to shout from the rooftops how much they miss their college town! They could easily buy a ho-hum Nike sports shirt, but they choose our shirts because they stand out, are witty, and outwardly declare their inner passions for the best 4 years of their life. The target audience
Our customers can be as young as recent college grads or as old as 80! Men and women equally. Everyone who went to college holds their college town dear to their heart. It was the best for years of their life! Everyone remembers the fun, the tomfoolery, the school spirit, the homecoming festivities, their free and youthful spirit, the days of no responsibility!
We sell to alumni associations, collegetown retail shops. We sell to college bookstores who have alumni frequent their store. We sell our shirts as gifts for graduates, birthday gifts, Christmas gifts. Our shirts are very popular with tailgaters or fans who go to bars to watch the games because they now live so far away.
We sell a lot of shirts on ETSY, so that tells you our customers are witty and original, and seek sports clothing that has personality. They look for the perfect shirt on the internet, instead of just going to the nearby sporting goods store to get a boring shirt like everyone else has.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We are looking for a new logo that embodies school spirit. We are looking for artwork with either I MISS MY COLLEGE in the artwork or next to or underneath the artwork. This new logo will need to stand on its own for business cards, and other marketing tools...including a new website. But this new logo will also be screen printed onto the shirt itself as a private label in the back neck of the shirt. Because it has to be printed small on a t shirt, it can't be overly complicated.
Ideally we would like one logo to be 2 or 3 colors for our everyday marketing use, but able to be printed in just one color so it can be printed on our shirts using only one ink color (to save money).
Conceptually, think Animal House, the school spirit scenes from the movie Grease, Norman Rockwell paintings, vintage college football posters. Think about all the fun fans have at tailgate parties and sitting in the bleachers with their friends. We want to exude college camaraderie, and school spirit without showing a specific sports symbol.
Attached is the one picture that we really like. The guy is cheering for his team, but you can't tell if he is a cheerleader or just a fan. He's shouting to the crowd, as if to yell out...."I MISS MY COLLEGE!!" The picture attached has emotion, feeling, and a peppy spirit. Obviously we can't copy it, but we would like to see a logo that embodies these emotions. Our new logo can be similar to the picture or totally different, we are up for anything and in any color. So get creative and channel your college days and help us connect with all those alumni out there that MISS THEIR COLLEGE!!!
