What we do
this is a half-marathon running competition in Flims, a famous skiing and summer resort in the Swiss Alps. The race is considered a trail-run, i.e. we don't run on concrete but on gravel roads and forest tracks (serious trails). The track is amazingly beautiful and passes crystal clear mountain lakes, 90% of it is in the forest.
'Flem' is the local word for 'Flims' as in the name of the resort. 'Cuors' means 'path' or 'trail'.

Things to communicate through the design

The target audience
trailrunners / runners that enjoy running on trails, love nature and don't fear competition. Men and women as well as kids (we will have a kids run too!), aged between 20-55, respectively 7-15. Sportive people that spend their weekends in the mountains and prepare for the mountain running season. To be fit is important to them. Trailrunners tend to be well-educated and smart.
We like these fonts, colors and style
please see attached pictures. If Lake Cauma (Caumasee) can somehow be integrated (shape / color etc) this would be really nice. I like red but yellow is the color of Flims. Yellow and blue (as for the lake) might be a good match. There is this very famous ad from the 60ies with the lady jumping into the Lake of Cauma. It doesn't look like running but something along these lines would be cool, i.e. a runner in the same position but equipped with running shoes etc.
The logo can be drawn-out, I don't care.
