What we do
Bexley Yoga is a local yoga and wellness studio that offers beginner to advanced yoga classes. At the heart of our mission is making exceptional quality yoga classes accessible to each demographic in our community with no intimidation factors or image conveying that customers must already know how to do yoga, be flexible or in shape, or meet any requirement other than a desire for wellness. Our core emphasis will be yoga for professionals, stay at home parents, athletes of all levels, students, seniors, youths and those with therapeutic needs. Our studio and instructors will embody our tag line “Be Fit, Be Strong, Be You”.
We will offer other services, such as yoga therapy, massage, nutrition counseling, Pilates and private sessions for all of the above. We will also offer continuing education courses for instructors as well as new instructor certification classes. Our retail operation will specialize in quality yoga apparel along with a selection of the most relevant and recently reviewed fitness and wellness books available in today's market. We will host special events, i.e., Vinyasa and Vino for a unique happy hour or end of day distressing or coordinate a variety of events for the public or a private gathering, i.e., a group of woman who want to include yoga in a bachelorette event or a Mothers Day mommy and me yoga class.
Bexley Yoga is in the center of the thriving city of Bexley, Ohio (a suburb of Columbus), an established community of young professional families and active seniors.
Bexley Yoga was created with community in mind -- we focus on the "shop local” movement. We're conveniently located and want to emphasize the "close to home" / "next door" feel.
The logo should have the ability to be tailored to other cities should we decide to franchise -- for example "Johnstown Yoga" or "Cleveland Yoga", etc. We require the flexibility to swap out "Bexley" with another city should we expand to other locations.

The target audience
Our target demographics include the following listed in order of importance for reach: Educated women with a professional background/disposable income and often with children (stay-at-home mothers); Financially independent seniors/retirees seeking a low impact exercise regimen that also stimulates the mind; individuals with previous injuries seeking alternative physical therapy; Young professionals looking for a high end, LOCAL yoga studio; college students (from university located across the street from our studio).
We like these fonts, colors and style
The design should be clean, uncluttered and translate seamlessly for different applications (web, print, etc). Avoid any "new age" aesthetic and flowers. Do not use the color pink.
Bexley Yoga is about healthy living and a sense of community -- it's a new spin on the on the old idea of chatting on the town square: people coming together, through yoga, to connect and improve their mind, body and spirit.
