What we do
Child Behavior Therapy consists of practical and tested procedures designed to provide the child with the strategies needed to improve family interactions and the child's ability to manage his / her behavior in a very compassionate and cared environment.
Equal emphasis is placed on parent training, in child Behavior therapy, to successfully manage and shape the child's behavior. By focusing less on child's emotional state and more on his actual behaviors, it attempts to turn parents into their child's therapist by teaching them how to encourage and maintain positive behaviors, determine which behaviors can be actively ignored, and know when and how to set and enforce rules.
The ultimate goal is to hand hold, embrace, and nurture the behaviorally challenged children to achieve overall development by integrating the family as the major stakeholders, and bring these children into mainstream living.
