What we do
Ar + C is a company that offers high-end construction and remodeling services. We are based in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and our main clients are upscale hotels and private luxury residences. In this field, competition is high. We are a very small team and are able to compete because we offer our customers flexibility, attention to detail, and personal guarantees on our work.

The target audience
Most of our customers are wealthy American homeowners who have a second property in Mexico.
The people purchasing our services are also sometimes the engineers who manage these properties.
Our customers tend to be older (45+) and usually male, though about 20% of our customers are women (and we all know that they make the decisions!).
We like these fonts, colors and style
Our brand should communicate luxury and power, while being clearly about construction. We have a logo (please see attached) that we've been using for a decade, and it's time to bring it up to speed. We do not want, though, to look totally different than the brand we already have - we simply want to modernize it.
We like the lego-style building block because it's a playful way to represent construction and connectedness. It's also unique and helps us stand out. That being said, we feel like it needs to have much cleaner lines, become more refined, and generally more attractive. We are open to a logo that is made out of simple lines (no fill) and that represent a partial "lego" instead of such a literal interpretation, but we'll leave that up to the designers ;)
Our brand colors are grey and red, and we'd like to keep those colors but are open to new additions to the palette.
We will, however, be using this logo on red, grey, or white t-shirts and so would appreciate being able to make versions of this logo that would work on various backgrounds.
