What we do
Ours is an orthodontic office in Spokane, WA. We emphasize patient care and personal touch to make each person's orthodontic experience a happy and familiar event. We are current in our technology and education. We offer custom services from the clear solutions of Invisalign for those who want that all the way to the bright, fun colors of bands associated with braces. Our focus is straightening teeth of course, but we want to do so well that you are excited about sharing it with the world. We want to take it a step further and encourage others to share not only their smile but their time, talents and personality. We will inevitably contribute to charitable organizations and donate to the community, while encouraging others to pay it forward as well. Most important we feel a positive, upbeat attitude is the most important element of our success.

Things to communicate through the design
1. happy, vibrant, Upbeat
2. Professional and Current
3. People-centric and Service Focused
The target audience
We will target two markets: both the kids that come in for braces and the parents that bring them. Our services are mostly elective so we are targeting upper-middle class families who are successful, bright, educated and driven. These are the parents who want the best for their kids. It needs to be fun and hip enough to attract the kids but also professional enough to earn the trust of the parents that bring the kids with them.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I like what the exercise industry is doing right now with bright colors. Nike, Reebok, Under armor and others are making exercise, an otherwise difficult task, to be fun and exciting. And one way they are doing that is through splashes of bright, vibrant colors. The sports industry is doing the same - like the NFL ProBowl & Oregon Uniforms. I also like neutral Blues and Gray contrasted with volt yellows and vivid blues, like on LinkedIn and a number of websites. I like the concept of a Highlighter to bring the image and area of focus to life.
I do not think that a hand should be used in the logo per se. It is too cliche to have an obvious hand giving a high 5 in the logo
I want to convey the FEELING of a high five, not the literal representation of one. We are in the happiness business and want to evoke the feeling of excitement, fun and celebration!
