The target audience
PLEASE NOTE: This logo is not for company branding purposes. Instead, it is a logo for our International Conference for all of our employees worldwide. The theme of the Conference this year is "Epic Mission" - we will have 600 employees join us in Irvine, California this October for our 3-day conference.
The reason we are going with epic mission is because we have grown 40% year-over-year for the past 7 years. Now that we are so much larger, we are expanding into new product lines like personal finance and managing your life finances and also Real Estate courses. It's no longer just about trading. As such, our employee conference this year we want to convey how we have an epic mission to evolve our brand and we are going to update our mission statement: Transforming lives worldwide through exceptional trading and investing education. to include these new areas of real estate, tax management, personal finance and more.

We are open to any color, font or style. Whimsy is nice.
The logo needs to be reproduce able on lapel pins, shirts, printed material, posters, ppt slides, giveaway merchandise.

You may have done this already, but take a look at the logos from our past conferences in the pdf in the contest and you'll get a feel for what we like. Something whimsical and the graphic like you've created is on the right track.
