What we do
This will be a logo to represent a professional sports team.
The game will be futsal (international version of indoor soccer).
The logo must include awesome text and a character of Vulcan, the man who was a blacksmith and created the weapons for the god, the god of fire & war.
The team will be based in Akron, Ohio, the rubber capital of the world.
Charles Goodyear of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber company invented the process of 'vulcanization' to use fire to temper rubber for wide use in many applications, especially tires.
Vulcan is the Roman god of Fire.
Vulcan was the Greek god of war and he was born of a vulcano. He made the weapons for the other gods.
Vulcan was the son of Zeus and Hera.

The target audience
The target audience will be the fans of our team and our home city of Akron and the Goodyear Company. We want to represent the city of Akron Ohio and the Goodyear company with a classic and traditional connection to the city and the company that helped to build its international reputation.
In addition the logo has to be able to be accurately reproduced to help us sell merchandise to our fans. Jerseys, plastic action figures, coffee mugs
We like these fonts, colors and style
I like the design of a strong armed blue collar blacksmith that is forging the weapons of war for the gods.
Anvil and fire to forge weapons.
The image of a sword and a hammer raised in the shape of a 'V' and being raised by VULCAN. Or using this image as the background CREST for the logo.
I like the powerful long-haired hammer wielding, his simple old fashioned clothing or attire, sort of an apron or a kilt as shown in the attached pictures.
I like the mythical idea of the connection with the gods.
We need to create a likeness that is responsible for being powerful yet creating precision weapons of war (these weapons will be our players)
I like the idea of forging weapons as a blacksmith would do.
