What we do
Online wellbeing assessments for schools.
Industry: Education
Things to communicate through the design
1. Professional Expertise – we know assessment, professional backgrounds, understand education
2. Reliable / Trust – robust processes, good servers and back up, appropriate and secure handling of data
3. User Friendly – simple and easy to navigate assessments.
The target audience
The logo will be seen by students at school (aged 12-18), teachers, and parents. We are selling however to school principals and boards in charge of schools. We currently have a logo of an APE (https://www.aweschools.com/ ) but it’s not representative of the 3 points above (professional expertise, reliable, user friendly assessments) and was only used because our original name was “Assessment of Positive Education”.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We like the NZAPP logo – how the “a” turns into a character:

We like the simplicity and block element of About my Wellbeing

We like the usability – logo can be used separately from the text element of the logo:

We like
[Login to view URL] - very simple representation of their text on the right hand side bar.
We like
[Login to view URL] - making a very long title more interesting
What we need is a logo of “AWE” but also with the ability to add the text “Assessing Wellbeing in Education” as a block to the logo, potentially to the side. We are also open to objects and images that could be associated with education/schools/assessment/wellbeing incorporated, and ideally linking into the “AWE” rather than standing separate from it. The main font we use on the AWE website (https://www.aweschools.com/ ) is Raleway (http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Raleway ) However, we don’t want to limit a logo design to that font.
Our design will be used on
(Web) (Print Media) (Billboards & Signs)
Additional Info Added May 7, 2015
We would like the 'AWE' to be easy to read without much interpretation required.
The assessments are for phycological wellbeing of high school students.
Some imagery relating to wellbeing without portraying just happiness would be good.
