What we do
Yield Intelligence (YI) is a online data platform that delivers critical data on the price and quality of agricultural products to those who need it. Today, we focus on coffee, helping coffee buyers and roasters identify the best beans and the right prices. We work with coffee farmers and brokers to collect, digitise and analyse live information on coffee crops.

The target audience
The audience of the logo will be the clients/users of Yield Intelligence. Our users will be professionals buying agricultural products, for example, they may be responsible for buying coffee beans for a coffee roasting company. These people love their work, the coffee community and the international nature of their work which means they work with coffee farmers globally. The users will be English-speaking professional people working in North American and European cities.

Yield Intelligence will be known for the following characteristics:
Community, Knowledge, Improvement, Growth, Crops, Agriculture, Coffee, Trade, Network, Data/Information, Technology, Global
YI's logo should communicate these ideas in a cross-cultural and non-verbal way. The words "Yield Intelligence" may feature in the logo, however, the logo must also work without any text for for mobile and smaller contexts.
Stylistically, we are open to all design ideas submitted. We do believe a circular design may work well. Our website uses two accent colours: an azure blue and an orange. We are also interested in a leafy green.

As of 4/13/2015, we have uploaded an image found online which we like the design of and which represents one possible direction for the logo. Feel free to use this as inspiration. Colour, use of company name and other artistic elements are also appreciated. Thanks for the submissions so far.
