What we do
The Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Section of the State Bar of Texas is made up of attorneys that practice law in the energy industry on behalf of clients that have oil, gas, pipeline, electric power and renewable interests. The OGERL Section dedicated to promoting excellence in the practice of oil, gas and energy resources law.
Please note that the Business Name (the name of the Section) may, but does not need to be, included in the logo.

Things to communicate through the design
1. The energy industry our attorneys represent is broad including oil, gas, pipelines, electric power, transmission and renewables as well as consumers.
2. Practice of law relates to transactions, litigation and regulation.
3. The logo does not need to, but can state the Business name of the Section but is long and should not end up being the main part of any logo design.
The target audience
Existing and prospective attorneys interested in energy law.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Our website is beige and dark brown and the logo should have color (and can use bright colors) so as to stand out but not to clash with the beige and brown or the picture of the pumpjacks on the first page with a sunset behind pumpjacks (oilgas.org). The background of the logo might be but is not required to be light beige.
