What we do
This Is A Book Cover: Our company sells high end professional pilot logbooks. They are proudly hand made in Denver, Colorado USA by skilled book binders and are a nicer and more attractive alternative to the mass produced cheaper logbooks widely available online and at local pilot shops. They look better, are better made and most importantly, have a better layout in which to log piloting time for official records.

The target audience
The target audience will be mostly new student pilots in flight school buying a logbook for the first time. They will also be purchased by military pilots transitioning to the civilian flying industry, existing professional pilots, and as gifts for pilots from people looking to purchase a high quality gift.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Please use the attached photos for inspiration. We welcome all artistic creativeness and really want to see a lot of different ideas. We like the classic aviation wings that both military and civilian pilots wear on their chest to show that they are a pilot. We want to convey professionalism and have a very official look to it. A google search of "pilot wings" will give many examples. The images will be stamped on the front of a logbook in gold or silver foil so it will need to look good as a 2D image like on the picture of the logbook in one of the example photos attached below.
We like the images and silhouettes of the P-51 airplane but an airplane does not necessarily have to be incorporated into the logo. We are leaning more toward the official look of the pilot wings but are very open to other ideas as well that fit the aviation/airplane/pilot theme.
The logo will also need to include text that states: Pilot Flight Log & Official Record
This text can go above or below or be split above and below as well. Whatever looks good with the logo.
