Name On Logo: Fairy Dogmother
Our Slogan
redefining pet care, one family at a time
What we do
I am operating an in-home pet care service as the Fairy Dogmother.
I always start with a meet & greet where the clients, animals and I all get together and talk about their daily routine. I am then able to assess what I might be able to offer them, we talk about pricing and go from there. Anything from check up visits while they are at work, feedings, medicating, overnight stays, behavior modification, field trips(dog parks, pet stores, etc) Basically, as the name implies, a fairy godmother for pets.
I also have a website that is under construction (really need that logo to make any more progress) so please check that out to see what I am all about:

Things to communicate through the design
1. I accept ALL types of animals- not just dogs(although they are my specialty which is communicated through my business name)
2. customized, personalized and individual specific pet care
3. this is an IN-HOME service- I travel to their home.
The target audience
Pet owners- typically, it seems to be the dedicated professional who has pets that function as their most important immediate family members so it is VERY important that I not only capture their attention, but ignite their curiousity enough to schedule a meet and greet where I can gain their trust. Because of how I custom cater the pet care, higher-income families allow me to provide the highest level of care.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Think Walt Disney fairytale meets modern, innovative business. I've always loved the elegant, elaborate fonts but also realize they can be hard to read. Earthy greens are my favorite but you guys know alot more about the significance of color in logos. I don't know if a green/pink or green/purple match might be good? Green doesn't even have to be a part of it.
I am still unsure of whether or not "the" is a concrete inclusion to my business name.... I do know that if it should be included I want it lowercase. I'm also NOT at all attached to having the "slogan" directly on the logo.
My dream come true would be an artistic, original logo that clearly communicates I welcome ALL pets- not just dogs. Since dogs are my specialty, that is where the business name comes in. My favorite designs will be ones that somehow incorporate cats or small animals or exotics or horses etc... I have a tiny bit of design history but everything I came up with on my own looked very cluttered instead of the "magically professional" look I am going for. I encourage people to have fun with this and realize that I am eager to provide feedback so don't be afraid to throw some wild designs out there!
Our design will be used on
(Web) (Print Media) (Billboards & Signs) (Mugs & Tshirts)
