What we do
EDS is the acronym for the full business name: "Engineering Delivery Solutions"
We provide Executive and "White Collar" Engineering Recruitment and Consultancy services to the following industry sectors:
Nuclear,
Oil & Gas,
Civil Infrastructure,
Built Environment,
Rail,
Aerospace,
Automotive,
Power & Utilities.
We would like the main logo and "brand" to be EDS (always upper case) and we envisage this is what will be used on all media - to develop the brand and maximise awareness etc.
But we would also like to have a separate part (or 2nd logo?) which is the full "Engineering Delivery Solutions" with a form of separation between each word using a circle/shape or dash/vertical line so that each word can be individual, but the whole company name is captured when the 3 words are read together. This logo will be used in a banner style or footer on some documents and within other media to communicate the whole name to viewers - and therefore needs to be compatible with and/or recognisable as being linked to the main "EDS" brand logo. Say for example if the "EDS" logo was at the top of a document or website, the whole "Engineering Delivery Solutions" banner style logo could be at the bottom - but the viewer would easily recognise they are related (eg: colours, features, style etc).

We like these fonts, colors and style
Completely open minded - I have an Engineering background, so not very creative!
3-4 colours maximum.
No major preferences regarding colour combinations, so long as I feel they will "work" and be good/recognisable at communicating the brand.
However, the overall impression looking at target client logos and the norm in the industry sectors has a leaning towards: Blues, Greys, Whites and Blacks - individually or combined.
