We like these fonts, colors and style
Our original logo (which can be seen attached) retains a certain sense of attachment by some members of our organisation. We are therefore sensitive and will consider a look that retains certain elements e.g. map of Australia and a Heart (indicating caring). However, we are also open to other ideas that convey who we are and what we do.
Our organisation name should be visible somewhere in the logo, because our brand and organisation are not well known - it might therefore be handy (but not compulsory) to include the url somewhere in the new logo. However, our organisation name is long, so that is possibly a challenge. We have also uploaded an example of one idea for a new logo that incorporates the name into the map - this is one possible approach and we are happy for this logo to be streamlined for those who believe this is an idea worth pursuing. However, again, we are not limiting ourselves to this approach.
Our traditional colour scheme involves red highlights, as well as white and shades of black. It might also be interesting to see an inverse version of the suggested logo (e.g. maybe a version on a white background and another reversed version on a red background).
One other point. Leukodystrophies are associated with a failing Nervous System. If you google the word "Nerves" under Google Images, you might be inspired to somehow work the image of broken Nerves into the logo - this is an idea only - it might or might not be suitable to the final look of the logo.
In the end, we do not want a complex logo and encourage your ideas, both similar and different to our existing style.
That is your challenge!
(note, we have uploaded current portrait version, current landscape version and one example that has already been suggested). Hopefully these are not displayed out of proportion.
Our design will be used on
(Web) (Print Media) (Billboards & Signs) (Mugs & Tshirts)
