The target audience
This is a higher end product so its typically found in front of nicer homes. Its often paired with stone pillars and walls on either sides of the driveway. The gates can be built to a traditional or contemporary style.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I like clean, crisp, elegant and clever designs in black & white, platinum, grey, silver etc. I would be open to one additional colour if the designer felt that was best. I like a strong looking logo. I've thought that maybe emphasizing "gates" somehow might be good because ontario is a very recognizable word in this area already....

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for your creativity so far. I would like to say that I want the illustration above the words (or beside)to look like a gate. Not a typical boring gate but something artistic maybe just using the rough outline or generic shape of a gate that people can identify with. this logo needs to be very elegant and classy but with a simplicity about it.
cCn we also try adding EST 2000 to the logo?
