What we do
Chicho’s is a local bar and pizza shop established in 1968 by couple of lifeguards. The original location was located in the heart of the oceanfront in a tourist city. It is a known establishment locally and everyone that grew up in the area is familiar with the name. Which is good and sometimes bad; most people knew us for the bar atmosphere and late night spicy pizza. The original location is no longer there but we still have a location in the oceanfront area. We also opened up another location in a neighboring city in a neighborhood shopping center. This is where we realized that we needed to start catering to a more family friendly environment versus the late night demographic. The locals that grew up hanging out at the beach now have families with kids.
We are looking to grow and take this concept to the next level by franchising and/or growing organically. We currently have 2 existing locations, however their appearance are more “mom & pop” locations. We are getting ready to open our third location and we want this to be the “flagship” location for our brand and future locations.
Our overall goal is to provide an atmosphere and experience that can cater to the 5 year old as well as to the grandparent of that 5 year old. We are looking for a new and updated logo that still keeps a tie to the history of the name. The pizza that the locals’ remember has now influenced the entire menu.
Some key words that we have been known for with our name: “Hot & Spicy” “Local’s Only”
I believe that the history of the business needs to be explained for anyone to understand what we are looking for. I have attached our existing logo as a reference.
