Our Slogan
Possiblity. In every direction.
What we do
The Port Police are responsible for security and law enforcement in and around the Portland International Airport (PDX). The police patrol the perimeter road, public roadways, and terminal areas of the property. The officers also assist the traveling public with answers to their questions and directions.

Things to communicate through the design
1. Professionalism
2. Pristine beauty of the State of Oregon
3. A nice identification card.
The target audience
The logo will be used for the backing of our new identification card (which will be 3 inches by 2 inches in size). The ID will be used to communicate with other police officers in the State as well as the Nation, so it's appearance will be important.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We would like Mt. Hood, a 12,000 ft mountain, in the background, with the air traffic control tower in the foreground. These will separate the photo of the officer and the badge (see photo, enclosed). On either side we would like a pine tree with branches that stretch out into the card. Colors used should be blue and dark green (for the sky and forest) and a white or grey for the snow of the mountain. A little brown for the bark of the pine, too
