What we do
Personal chef business which offers menu planning, shopping, on-site meal preparation for the refrigerator and/or freezer and kitchen clean-up.

There is another element to my personal chef business in that I will also be cooking at a (local) commercial kitchen. Delicatessens will be made at the kitchen for clients to purchase. Looking to provide a number of fresh-to-go and frozen-to-go choices.

The target audience
Targeting active singles, families and the “sandwich generation” [a generation of people who care for their aging parents while supporting their own children] in Northwest Indiana (approximately 1hour SE of Chicago, IL).

We like these fonts, colors and style
Looking for a logo that is hip and stylish, yet still classic enough to stand the test of time!!!

In terms of STYLE: I would love to have MY personality shown through the logo (quite a difficult task given that you have never met me!! I have attached a few pictures of myself (Melonie (37)), husband (Jason (37)) and two children (Grace (9) and James (8)). I am a German/Italian Leo, I have crazy curly hair, I’m outgoing, love the great outdoors, enjoy eating but more than anything I LOVE to COOK! I always tell people that I add extra LOVE to my food, that's what makes it taste SO good!

I DO NOT WANT: a chef hat, or the fork, spoon, knife motif.

I am not opposed to a cutting board or an apron.

COLORS: black, red, white and green (Love black because it's just classic. Red, white and green - colors of the Italian flag).

LOOKING AT FOCUSING ON THE COLORS RED, BLACK AND WHITE, RATHER THAN USING THE ITALIAN COLOR THEME.

ALSO, INCORPORATING A HEART IN THE APOSTROPHE OF "MELLIE'S" OR CREATIVELY WITHIN THE LOGO IS THE DIRECTION WE ARE HEADED.
