The Center for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Learning and Research or the MACILE Center is an educational and youth development program designed to increase access to STEM and language learning for school-aged youth, from less-advantaged communities in the Dominican Republic. The MACILE Center is committed to guiding young people to cultivate moral and academic excellence. While the MACILE Center will provide life-changing academic experiences in the lives of the students through the study of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The Center will also be dedicated to virtue-based teaching inspired by a model that make seeking truth and understanding the source of all power driving human advancement.

The logo will appear on our website, on our brochures and any informational papers we have or hand out as we solicit donations and inform people of what we do. The logo should brand us as a STEM-focused learning center grounded in moral and academic excellence. This logo MUST reflect the moral excellence as intensely as the academic excellence....this is our key differentiating factor from other STEM organizations.

Remember, we serve youth and teachers from less-advantaged communities who are seeking learning and growth opportunities.

We do not have any input at this point on the design. However, remember we will use this logo on the uniforms, the school signs, the school seals, and all printed and web-based informational and promotional materials.

We would like to see more crest and shield logos. For examples, google Dulwich College in Shanghai (or any of their schools) or Dover Court Preparatory school in Singapore. Need not be as complicated as Dulwich, but that gives you an idea.
