I am not particular about font but I'd like the font to be easy to read so not in cursive.
I like primary colors.
I'd like a business casual style logo.

I apologize for being so ambiguous about my preferences. This is my first logo contest.

I'd like to narrow the color to royal blue and yellow or gold.
To be specific about the purpose, this logo is for a consulting and mediation business. The type of consulting I expect to do is advising organizations about workplace conflict etc. I currently mediate all types of conflict.
The logo should focus on communication and agreement ie. shaking hands, people negotiating, harmony.
Alaska's state flag is blue and yellow. Alaska's state animal is the moose. Its state bird is a ptarmigan, its state flower is the forget-me-not, its state fish is a chinook salmon. We are known for our aurora borealis, mountains and glaciers.
