The target audience
The wine will only be for sale at the winery and online. The primary consumer will be wine interested people in back country locations. This is off the beaten path in a secluded private spot.
We like these fonts, colors and style
I was recently in a wine store with about 300 different bottles of wine displayed in a long wall. The only one that stood out was this logo:

Most of the others were very bland, boring or trying too hard to be prestigious.
I'm very fond of stylized Sun logo's, love the color blue. The property is on a mountain side which is a pine forest. I have several acres of grapes growing. Bold color, but elegant and classy would be ideal, without being stately. The word 'ranch' in the name denotes a bit of a southwestern feel and I have used an 'algerian' font from stencils online to paint the name on a few things.
The use of Sun, mountain, grape clusters, grape leaf, tendril would all be fine in any combination.
I would like to have a part of the logo be used as a 'bug' for placement on equipment, t-shirts and look good without the words.
