What we do
This logo contest is the beginning of the startup evolution by Own Your Odds!
We provide opportunities for people to get social, get active and make memories!
We,
1) Index community events (concerts, 5K’s, food and wine festivals, etc.)*
2) Host exciting member only events where we pick up the tab (paintball, laser tag, bowling, etc.)*
3) Offer coaching on a wide array of topics (interviewing skills, resume writing, credit repair)
4) Provide networking opportunities for young professionals and entrepreneurs (business mixers and dinner events)*
5) Giveaway CASH and Prizes to members only
* Some events are for ages 21 & up only
Industry: Events
Things to communicate through the design
1. Keep it energetic but not overly cartoonish or comic book like
2. Could go with a modern and creative Gen Y feel; innovative, clean, sleek
3. Looks good on white or dark backgrounds and can be easily recognized when printed grayscale
The target audience
Needs to attract energetic college students as well as lively adults who enjoy being social and active (think 18-39 year olds who enjoy an array of events such as concerts and music festivals, zip lining, laser tag, golf, travel, wine tastings, etc.)
Our events will also consist of professional workshops, mixers and networking opportunities so please keep in mind that the logo should appeal to the young professional as well.

While we are open at this point to all ideas, we will be interacting with the public about the contest on our official Twitter page in addition to providing feedback here on LogoMyWay. We are encouraging the design community and the general public to engage with us and vote for their favorite design.

**We really like the multi color logos (red, blue, green, yellow, purple)
We would love to see someone try using map/location markers in the logo (perhaps with different events at the top of each marker - such as a wine glass, movie tickets, etc)
Vector art is cool.
Logo can include "Own Your Odds" or "OYO!" for short.
This is your opportunity to make us the "BRAND" you want to see. :)
