What we do
We are a race production team that puts on a series of 5k/10k running events in and around the city of Houston. RUN Houston! Race Series consists of 5 total events that surround the city (North, South, East and West) with the championship race being centralized, downtown.

The target audience
Males & Females Ages 12-100. Location is mostly the Houston area with some from major surrounding cities. Most are college educated or higher with families and interests in staying healthy.
We like these fonts, colors and style
For this contest we are specifically looking for a logo to represent the entire series. The winning designer may also be asked to later design individual logos for each event within the series (additional stipends).
Pay special attention to the type. While we are open to the use of any font (if done tastefully) we do not want anything too modern or dated. Color is open to whatever the designer thinks works. We already have a lot of other logos with red, white and black so we would like to avoid that combination if possible. Must be something that will attract both male and female and stand the test of time.
We cannot stress enough that this logo must look professional, clean and well done. DO NOT use silhouettes of runners. DO NOT submit anything that looks like a badge. Other than that have fun!
