What we do
We own and operate 6 hydro electric generating stations and 16 dams on 4 watersheds in Central Ontario. We generate green electricity in a safe, responsible manner. Our shareholders are the towns of Bracebridge, Huntsville, Sundridge, Burk's Falls, Magnetewan and Parry Sound. The above assets are the sum of two separate companies that are merging.

Things to communicate through the design

The target audience
We have no customers but we control watersheds that impact landowners. We sell our electricity to sister companies to Lakeland Power (www.lakelandpower.on.ca) and Parry Sound Power (www.pspower.on.ca). Most citizens confuse us with our sister companies and see us as one entity. This new logo will be featured on all our material, trucks, website, coorespondence etc. It needs to look good in full colour and B/W. The successful winner must provide both versions of the logo (colour & B/W) in high quality AI or EPS formats.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We are looking for something simple, crisp and clean. Safety colours are great such as orange, red as are black and grey shades. Green and blue are great colours representing water and environment. Only want 2 or 3 colours total.
