We are a small, top rated, boutique law firm working primarily with corporate clients of all sizes in litigation and related corporate matters for the last 25 years. Legal and Law logo designs.

The target audience
Our target clients are successful businesses and business owners. Other areas include family law and homeowners insurance claims (no criminal law, tax law, personal injury, real estate)
We like these fonts, colors and style
Looking for a logo that immediately says prestige & class; for use on website, letterhead, business cards. Must not look like stock "clipart." Simple enough to be recognizable even when small enough to be used on a business card.
Initially, we were messing around with the "CLG," but were unable to think of something that really worked. More leaning towards creative text versus images, etc. Though please submit ANY ideas! Love creativity!
Would really like to avoid standard themes (gavels, scales, lady justice, etc.) if possible, but am not completely against it if it's clever.
Looking for 2 - 3 colors, but design must be able to work in "black and white" setting when photocopied on standard copiers/scanners in normal legal usage (two versions -- color and grayscale -- of logo would be acceptable).

Color scheme of website is not relevant. We'd like to have one of the colors be a dark/hunter green. The others are up to you.
