What we do
The “Schweizerischer Shredder Verband" (Swiss Association of Car Shredder companies) is the national interest group of the recycling industry spezialized in shredding cars. Our members are privately owned small and medium sized companies, mostly family corporations, with a long standing tradition in recycling and car shredding. It is organized as private lobbying association.
Our aim is the promotion and maintenance of the private recycling industry in Switzerland. That includes ensuring and representation of our member’s interests at national and international authorities, organisations, associations and other corporations.
The name of the association is quite long, we do use it mostly in German or French (Association Suisse de Shredder). We also use the short version SSV quite often, so a good logo for us would have the SSV and the full text version combined, so that we could use also just the VSSV and a picture part as short version.
