We are an accommodation business in Rotorua, New Zealand. We provide fully self contained units. We are located on the shores of lake Rotorua and provide our guests with tranquil lakeside accommodation.

Demographic = Mid to upper class families, couples and international visitors.
Interests = Travelling, adventure tourism, Geothermal activity
We like these fonts, colors and style
We are rebranding our business which includes changing our name slightly from Cedarwood Lakeside Holiday Resort to Cedarwood Lakeside Motel. The layout for our name is to be similar to our existing layout i.e Cedarwood on the top line with Lakeside Motel underneath. Each line can have a different font (or both matching) but with Lakeside Motel being smaller in size. The color for both lines must be Lime Green (Photoshop code #2AF720). All logos to be on a black background but the winning logo will also need to be supplied with a transparent background for letterhead and email use.
No script type fonts to be used. For the rest of the logo we are after something funky and open to all other colors.
Idea's to relate our logo to could be, Lakeside, Geothermal Activity, Sunsets.
Please provide options with and without the tagline.

We have extended the contest as we still want more contrasting logo's. We had a lot of very similar logo designs which mostly used only 2 main colors (Lime & Yellow).
It's hard for us to be more specific in what we want as we are not designers ourselves, hence why we chose to put up this contest, however we will try and state some ideas below.
The only color stipulation is that Cedarwood must be lime green and the background to be black.
We would like designs to use more than 2 colors i.e like entries #102, 118 & 134.
We like that entries #102, 118 & 134 combine many elements, without looking cluttered.
A combination of lake/sunset/trees/motel or roof line would be great.

I was given some advice to not rank designs but just tag the ones we like with "Elements we like". I will do this, but please give me some feedback on this subject if you have other opinions as its our first time runnning a contest and we are still learning about the info you need back from us.
