What we do
We provide an electronic design automation (EDA) software for digital semiconductor chip designers. Our products help chip designers to estimate the power consumption a priori so that they can reduce power consumption before chip fabrication, which eventually reduce heat generation of the chip too. Unlike previous EDA software, our products are applicable to the whole chip (large scale) rather than a part of the chip.
Baum means 'tree' in German. Trees are efficient in cooling down the temperature of the Earth with no harm to human. So, trees and our products are analogous in the sense that they cool down in a large scale. We also like the link that our technology helps to reserve the natural resources by saving energy.
The logo does not need to explicitly express our current products. Our business area is largely electronic design automation for semiconductor designs.
Industry: Technology
Things to communicate through the design
1. Software for energy saving
2. Innovation
3. Nature-friendly technology
The target audience
Our target audiences are in semiconductor industry. They are usually engineers with high-level educations (mostly with B.S., M.S., and Ph.D degrees) and their income ranges are quite high. Our target customers are mainly located in Eastern Asia, North America, and Europe.
We like these fonts, colors and style
We like colors like Green, Light Green, Yellow, and Blue and fonts like Broadway, Georgia, Verdana, and Arial.
But we are open to any color, font, and style idea (That's why we are here)
Our design will be used on
(Web) (Print Media) (Billboards & Signs) (Mugs & Tshirts)

We really like the designs linking a tree or nature with technology or software.
Software or digital circuits are using only two values 0 and 1. If we draw the value with an axis of time in graph, they make rectangle pulse shapes (changing values between 0 and 1 as time goes). For example, clock signals in digital circuits have a periodic rectangle pulse shape. I am sorry but I cannot provide the shape in text here. You may find images of the shape easily by searching on the web with keyword like "clock signal waveform".
Having a design containing this shape will be very interesting too.
