What we do
This will be a logo for a research project, and it will be primarily used on a webpage as part of a banner and in powerpoint slides. The project seeks to understand how childhood body size and growth are associated with the risk of developing cancer in adulthood. The project uses a historical data set of children who were measured at school by doctors and nurses (from the 1930s onwards), and then links their data to various national health registers to ascertain who developed cancer. We use a project acronym of C2C as well.

The target audience
The logo will primarily be used on the website and it may be viewed by other academic researchers as well as members of the public who are interested in our work. The logo may also be used in our academic presentations, so it will need to project well.
We like these fonts, colors and style
Font: I like sans serif.
Color: I like deeper colors (black, maroon, deep blue, etc); the topic of this logo is cancer. Small splashes of other colors are fine, but it's simply not a topic that should be presented in pink!
Style: I like clean, bold and modern lines. I dislike anything fussy or frilly.
