What we do
Youth Council is an important way to give young people a voice. With the motto ‘Our voice. Our ideas. Our time.' the Youth Council has been successful in providing a forum for young people to participate in their community.
The Youth councillors range from 15 - 24 year olds
The formation of the Youth Council has been central to Council’s efforts to increase recognition of the contribution of young people in the Shire. The Youth Council has been operational since 2002 and has been extremely pro active in consulting with young people, bringing attention to youth issues and implementing projects which respond to the needs of young people.

The target audience
The logo will be targeted at the community within the Bega Valley Shire. This is people of all ages, all Interests, all industries and people from different backgrounds.
