Possible ideas: US penny (currency), redbone coonhound / Labrador silhouette... Not real sure if they'll work in the finished product, but at least it's a couple ideas to get started. I'll be sure to comment on your entries and help drive you toward a winning logo.
Because of the way logos appear on online stores, the logo should be more of a panoramic design or rectangular- not too box or square like.
