Memory Makers DJ Service Logo Design Contest
Name On Logo: Memory Makers DJ Service
Our Slogan
Where Words Fail, Music Speaks...
What we do
We provide all digital music via our computerized DJ's sound systems to weddings, birthday parties, anniversary parties, holiday parties, etc... We are also master of ceremonies for every event, as well as ensure everyone is up an dancing. The DJ makes or breaks the event, and we are there to make the event. We host the events, play great music, and get the party started.
Industry: Entertainment

Things to communicate through the design
1. High Class w Rich Color (but not to masculine)
2. new age digital, not records or CD's, not old school microphones
3. touch on weddings as they are 90% of business, but also not just weddings, if that makes sense. we do corporate, school dance, etc...

The target audience
1st target audience is bride and grooms 80%, second is corporate 10%, third is others 10%. We mainly deal with ages 21 to 41 on average. New consumers with 80% 1st wedding, and 20% two or more weddings. Mostly female with 80% females purchase the DJ and 20% male. It's a male owned mobile DJ company, but I don't want it to masculine, but also not to feminine.. It does have to catch a female eye, and make them really look at it.

We like these fonts, colors and style
I am totally not sure what I want. I am an open book. I have a website designer that did a first page first try kind of thing, and I like the direction he is going, and I took a screen shot, and uploaded it for your review. I like the scroll design on the left and right of the photo, and somewhat like what he was going with it, but think it could be much better. I just really like the faint scroll work thought. Anyway, classy is important, and think distinctive bride who wants the best for her wedding. I really thought of doing something cool with the Capital M's from Memory Makers, and integrating 2 M's in some style of font next to or overlapping. Maybe the double M's would be a design. Feel free to start with something, and I will provide a lot of input. I attached a few double m ideas of what I was mentioning. One is from a Maybach... One BIG thing is I don't want it looking to cartoon like. I noticed many look like cartoon type logo's if you understand what I am meaning. I want it to look like a professional too. Thanks Chris
