Butt Up Bulldog Logo Design Contest
Name On Logo: Butt Up Bulldog
Our Slogan
No Slogan
What we do
All things Bulldog (english bulldog) online - in start-up phase, Buttupbulldog.com Family Friends, would like to go commercial over time, but feel we need an identifiable graphic design logo
Industry: Miscellaneous

Things to communicate through the design
1. simplicity
2. Bulldog
3. cool (like Adam Sandler, or Mick Jagger, or Snoop Dog, or Neil Young would wear our T shirt - because it is cool, and not because it advertises something) which is why the design must be simple

The target audience
All dog owners, but specifically English Bulldog owners, and bulldog lovers, and lovers of cool, simple T-shirts - we are developing a fun bulldog site (www.Buttupbulldog.com) and want anyone who sees the logo to be intrigued buy the simple graphic design - enough to look us up on the internet

We like these fonts, colors and style
The Nike swoosh, the Apple apple, AT&T, the graphic walkman design -

we'd like a one color design, that for instance would look good in white ink on a black t-shirt, - small on a pocket, or large on the back of a t=shirt or vise versa - curved lines looking like a bulldog in the butt up position, where their front end is down on the ground, and their rear end is up in the air, looking at their front end with the bulldog's head to the left lower side of the design, and their butt to the right upper side of the design - simple graphic design that can be recognized immediately as a bulldog, but is more a graphic collection of swoosh similar "lines" - maybe fifteen or less total lines/swooshes to create the effect of a butt up bulldog

hopefully we could get the design without, and with buttupbulldog.com in lower case using a font like the Syfy TV station logo font - where the uprights on say a b does not extend to the bottom but moves right into the circular part of the letter - a single curved line

Our design will be used on
(Web)  (Print Media)  (Mugs & Tshirts)

Additional Info Added Mar 30, 2010
Please see [Login to view URL] page 7, the James Bond graphic - that is the type of graphic rendering we are looking for - thank you!

And remember the "offset perspective" butt up position - that is a must. The perspective line from nose of dog through stubby tail is maybe 15 degrees left of 90 degrees (straight up) - like the long side of this y - nose at the bottom, tail at the top front on the "ground" rear in the air

Think also in terms of a one color silk screen print - and maybe a young Marlon Brando for "cool"

And thank you all for your entries - they are all great!
